Stone sculptor based in Charente-Maritime, Sandrine Chaille primarily works with limestone, particularly the Thénac stone extracted from Saintonge. Her sculptures vary between figurative and abstract, depending on her creative impulses. Originally trained in housing renovation, she previously held the position of manager in a masonry company specializing in habitat renovation with rubble stones. Currently, she works as a technical assistant in a building classified as a historical monument in France. For the past few years, she has been a member of ARTOUR, an association of sculptors in Charente-Maritime near La Rochelle. She works and evolves in public view every week, surrounded by professionals and enthusiasts.
